Hal Herron – Chairman

Hal Herron has extensive international investment banking experience and specialised in the Fixed Interest and Global Foreign Exchange markets. He has held senior management positions in Sydney, New York and London, including Head of Global Markets Europe and Global Head of Foreign Exchange for Deutsche Bank. Hal is also a Chartered Accountant, having qualified while working for both Price Waterhouse and Coopers & Lybrand early in his career.

George Ruul – Chief Executive Officer

George is the founder of Netfira’s technology and has been responsible for Netfira’s software development since 2006. With a background in computer science, George has aimed to understand the needs and develop accounting and inventory software relevant to small and medium sized business over a 30 year career. George is active in global developer communities to keep abreast of a rapidly changing market.

Reinald Schneller – Senior Vice President Sales, EMEA

Reinald Schneller became Managing Director of Netfira Europe in 2012 and was previously SVP Sales at Netfira Inc. in San Francisco. Reinald has held senior management positions in major international engineering and software businesses during his career. Reinald was Director of the Americas Channel Partner Business at MSC Software in Santa Ana, California. Prior to that Reinald worked at Hewlett-Packard including as Director of the International Software Partner Group in Cupertino, California, Market Development Manager for HP’s European Telecom Software Business Unit in Grenoble, France, and Director of HP’s German Software Business Unit in Stuttgart, Germany.

Thomas Thiesen – Vice President, Professional Services

Thomas has an extensive background in IT Consulting, having led multiple SAP implementation and integration projects for SAP customers. Most recently, he was director of IT Consulting for syskoplan AG, where he served for over 20 years in a variety of IT leadership positions both in Germany and the United States. He holds degrees in mathematics and physics from Christian-Albrechts University, and a further degree in Computer Science from Informatika GmbH in Hamburg.
